Joe Sullivan, CEO

Joe Sullivan is the founder and CEO of Proximare Health, Inc. To date Proximare has processed over 2 million referrals spanning 10 years of continuous production. Joe built Proximare to address the patient referral challenges faced by Cook County Health and Hospitals System of Illinois, the nation's third largest safety net system with $600m in annual revenues and has subsequently grown the company to serve over 3,000 clinicians. Joe works with clinical and operations leaders spanning nearly every clinical specialty and subspecialty to build and deploy the technology and related clinical workflows to ensure that patients receive appropriate care with the right clinician while at the same time reducing the administrative complexities that frustrate both patients and clinicians. Prior to founding Proximare, Joe led the creation of several health care focused business subsidiaries at Ameritech (now part of AT&T), led the consolidation of 3 health care clearing houses for Card Establishment Services (now part of First Data), led sales efforts for Shared Financial Systems (now part of Stratus Technologies) and served in executive leadership positions with several of IBM's Hardware and Marketing Divisions. Joe graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in accounting.


Chris Hastings
Lead, Engineering

Chris started his career as a programmer in 1988 at Applied Systems, a software provider for the property and casualty insurance industry. He spent 16 years there, and worked his way up to Vice President of Research and Architecture. In 2004, he co-founded Sapphire Software Services, which has primarily been a consulting firm specializing in custom software for business to business processes and efficiencies through the intelligent use of technology. In 2010, he combined his experience of developing large enterprise systems and custom data integrations to produce Panoramix (TM) for Financial Advisors.


Charles Hastings
Lead, Architecture

Charles graduated from Boston University in 1990 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. He started his career as an engineer at a medical device company in Minnesota, where he used his computer skills to automate device quality testing. He then took a position with Applied Systems as a full time programmer in 1995. He led insurance software automation efforts at Applied Systems for 10 years before moving back to the medical device industry. Charles took on the role of principal software engineer for Medtronic in 2005 where he re-architected one of their patient critical software packages in the Patient Management group. In 2007 Charles decided to go work full time with Sapphire Software Services, which he co-founded with his brother in 2004. Sapphire Software Services has primarily been a consulting firm specializing in custom software for business to business processes and efficiencies through the intelligent use of technology. In 2010, he combined his experience of developing large enterprise systems and custom data integrations to produce Panoramix (TM) for Financial Advisors.
